The Dinosaur Project Release
The Dinosaur Project – An Inconvenient Discovery – is available in digital download from our shop store. The soft tissue research into dinosaur remains is astonishing and this 58 minute documentary includes cutting edge scientific research never before disclosed to the general public.

PECO - BMR Distributor ​
PECO, a leading manufacturer within the world of Model Railway products and, of course, its Railway Modeller magazines, is a distributor for the Build a Model Railway series.

Despite the Covid Challenges​
Producing high quality educational films for a leading conservation training centre takes planning and scheduling. We were contracted to do four such films, in record time, meeting all the required guidelines regarding Covid -19. Here is what the client had to say:​​

The Daniel Connection Feature Film
Available on Amazon Prime TV and can be viewed in most countries throughout the world. While the film was made in 2014, its relevance today is chilling in regard to its prophetic observations.​

The Spirit of Discovery (Award Winner 2018)
Awarded Best Educational Documentary 2018, Spirit of Discovery was produced for "Truth in Science" and the DVD / VOD is available from our shop. Distributed to over 7500 educational departments throughout the UK & Ireland. The project focuses on critical thinking in the science classroom. Part dramatisation, filming involved 20 actors and interviews with scientists from a number of countries covering a wide range of topics.

The Master Stroke Tutorial Series​
The Master Stroke Lime mortar series (5 DVD / VOD Set) details the use of Lime Mortars in a wide range of environments carried out by professional tradesmen and training educators. Filmed in both the UK and France and used to illustrate The Haynes building manual, these high quality productions continue to educate lime mortar use within – the Making of Lime Mortar, Lime Render, Lime Plaster, Building & Pointing and Surface Repair of Masonry.
The Lamplight Project (version 2)​
The Lamplight Project was originally released in 2016 and is an expansive 12-part multimedia presentation covering a wide range of Biblical subject matter. Complete with interactive study guide connected to over 1000 studio interviews on a host of Biblical topics from a wide range of accredited academics, scholars and experts.​

Sony Independent Experts and Showreels​
Director, Stewart Menelaws chose Sony’s XDCAMHD systems for the studio's workload. Sony Broadcast Europe, asked Stewart to join a number of international DoP’s as an "Independent Expert" where you can read articles on Studio Scotland in Sony’s ‘Producer’ magazines. Sony would feature many clips in their Showreels shot by Stewart as he tackled a wide range of subject matter.

Regional and National Awards​
Studio Scotland has always shied away from awards or recognition; it’s just who we are. Thanks to the kindness of those who felt we should be recognised for some of the work we do, the company was awarded both regional and national business awards with the addition of a commendation. One of our productions would also receive ‘Best Educational Documentary 2018’. Thank you to those who took the time and trouble to put us forward.

The Hilton Group have always been a pleasure to film for and one of our most favourite locations is at Dunkeld.​

​Clan Anderson
The Clan Anderson Family has a long Scottish history and to that end we met with the Chief of Clan Anderson, Mr. Hope-Vere Anderson to film an event held at Hopetoun House Edinburgh.​

Pearsons of Duns
Located in the Scottish Borders, Coal & Builders Merchant Pearsons of Duns commissioned Studio Scotland to produce both a promotional film and a product tutorial.

Knockhill TV / Radio Commercials
We have made many promo films and TV adverts for Knockhill Racing Circuit over the years, laying dolly tracks, rigging lights, smoke machines and helicopter tracking to capture the action.

Crieff Hydro Hotel Commercials
Over the years, Crieff Hydro has contracted Studio Scotland to produce a wide range of video projects for TV commercials, web infomercials, plasma display and presentations.​

Winning Scotland Foundation
"Winning Scotland", contracted Studio Scotland to create and shoot 9 short films that would dramatise issues faced by young adults, parents and coaches in the world of amateur football. ​

Distell Ltd
Distell, contracted Studio Scotland to create a series of multi media films for international use. These are viewed on smart phones while on the decks of deep sea fishing trawlers in the Bearing Sea to the floor of a busy meat market in Argentina.​

Laing O'Rourke
Lang O'Rourke has won many awards for their prestigious construction projects throughout the UK. Studio Scotland were chosen and contracted for a number of film projects.​

The Wider Access Forum
The Wider Access Forum contracted Studio Scotland to create an educational film that would show the lives of young adults who have embarked on various careers..​

Bosch - Global Impressions 125 years: Schottland
When Bosch celebrated its 125th birthday. To commemorate the event, 125 photographers where contracted from around the world to record an exact moment in time. Studio Scotland was sent to the Scottish Highlands to document of one of those moments.​

Brand-Rex
The world's second largest data cabling manufacturer came to Studio Scotland with high expectations for their company promotional film and they weren't disappointed.​

Wine Importers UK​ Scotland / France
Wine Importers is a leading independent wine supplier and contracted Studio Scotland to produce their corporate film. Filming took place throughout Scotland and France.

Chardon Wines
Owned by the Murray Family, Studio Scotland was contracted to produce two promotional films at Château Routas in Bordeaux in the South of France and Jessiaume in Santenay in the North

Niall Mac / Yamaha at Knockhill
Capturing British motor cycle champion Niall Mackenzie as he put a Yamaha R1 through its paces at Knockhill Racing Circuit was quite a challenge. The resulting film was used to showcase Sony's XDCAMHD Codec at broadcast events in Europe.

The Master Stroke DVD Tutorial Series
Studio Scotland and St Astier Limes UK collaborated on what is hailed as the definitive – international collection of training DVDs in regard to Lime Mortar application within the building industry​.

The Thistle Foundation
Filming was set in and around Glasgow, with requirements to meet strict scheduling that required a fast shooting style yet with the need for thoughtful consideration to all who partook in the production.​

De 4 Tenors Opera, Odense, Denmark
Danish group "The 4 Tenors" contracted Studio Scotland to produce an opera documentary with special guest appearance by Norwegian bass-baritone Ronnie Johansen, the project was filmed in Odense and would be broadcast on Danish Television.​

Fighting Fire (a division of Fife Builders Ltd)
Contracted to produce a corporate film working alongside the Fife Fire & Rescue Service, complete with a burning room set. ​

Historic Scotland & The Scottish Lime Centre
With director Stewart Menelaws having an engineering background, it was one of a number of reasons why Studio Scotland was chosen to film many projects for The Scottish Lime Centre Trust.​
